More about this game
You start with three lives and must catch stars as they fall down the screen. The stars appear across four different lanes, never dropping in the same lane twice in a row. As your score increases, the falling speed also increases up to a maximum limit of 220 extra speed units. If a star's bottom edge touches the bottom line, the line flashes red for a fraction of a second, and you lose one life. The run ends immediately when you run out of lives.
Tips
- Stars never fall in the exact same lane twice in a row, so always shift your attention to the other three lanes immediately after a star spawns.
- The falling speed increases as your score goes up, but the added speed caps at 220, so you only need to master that maximum steady pace.
- A yellow ring expands for 0.3 seconds when you catch a star, which helps you confirm the catch without looking away from the top of the screen.
Questions
How many lanes do the stars fall in?
The stars fall across four distinct lanes spaced evenly across the screen. The game forces the next star to pick a different lane than the previous one.
How do I lose the game?
You start the game with three lives. You lose one life every time a star's bottom edge drops past the bottom line, causing the line to flash red.
Do the stars keep getting faster forever?
No, the falling speed increases based on your score, but the speed boost is strictly capped at a maximum of 220 extra speed units. Once you reach that cap, the speed remains constant.
